Booking Terms & Conditions

These terms govern bookings made with Zambezi River Outfitters Limited, trading as Zambezi River Company(“we”, “us”). By booking a trip you agree to them.

Bookings & deposits

• A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking; the balance is paid on arrival, before your trip.
• All prices are quoted in US dollars (USD) per person unless stated otherwise.
• Your booking is confirmed once your deposit is received and you receive a confirmation.
• Groups of 16 or more are arranged directly by email or WhatsApp.

Cancellations & changes

• If we cancel a trip due to unsafe water levels or weather, we will offer you an alternative date or a full refund of your deposit.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.
• No-shows and late cancellations may forfeit the deposit.

Eligibility & safety

• Minimum age is 13. A moderate level of fitness is required for rafting trips.
• All guests must follow guide instructions and wear the safety equipment provided at all times.
• See our Safety & Waiver for the risks involved in white-water activities.

Liability

White-water rafting and gorge activities carry inherent risks. To the extent permitted by law, participation is at your own risk and subject to the safety waiver. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
