Your safety is our priority, and our local guides are experts on this river. White-water rafting and gorge activities are nonetheless adventurous activities that carry inherent risks. Please read this before you book.
Acknowledgement of risk
Rafting the Zambezi, swimming in the gorge, cliff jumping and hiking involve risks including but not limited to fast-moving water, rocks, capsizing, and physical exertion in a remote environment. By participating you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Our commitment
- Safety kayakers accompany every rafting trip.
- Helmets, life jackets and paddles are provided and must be worn at all times on the water.
- A full safety briefing is given before every trip, and guides scout the bigger rapids.
Your responsibilities
- All guests must be aged 13 or over and of moderate fitness.
- Declare any medical conditions, injuries or pregnancy before the trip.
- Follow your guide's instructions at all times.
- Do not participate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Waiver
When you book, you confirm that all members of your party meet these requirements and accept these risks. A full waiver is signed at check-in before your trip begins. Questions? Contact zambezirivercompany@gmail.com.
